Embedded Software Engineer – Bath – salary range £50,000 to £70,000
Our client, a market leader in the development of remote, high-resolution sensor equipment, power supplies and communications equipment, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with broad experience including software and basic appreciation of electronics design, to join a talented multi-disciplinary team of engineers.
Skills and experience required.
2 years + experience of Embedded Software / Firmware - C coding for microcontollers
Experience with Matlab or similar modelling packages
Ability to write structured code and documentation
Batchelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related subject.
Desirable but not essential:
Experience with signal processing (DSP) theory and algorithms e.g. within transmission / satellite communications applications.
VHDL / FPGA experience
This role offers the opportunity to gain broad experience developing a bespoke product range including communications modules, motor controllers, sensors and power supplies for a much-admired international organisation.
