Embedded Software Engineer

Embedded Software Engineer – Wiltshire – salary range £40,000 to £60,000
 
Our client, a market leader in the development of remote, high-resolution sensor equipment, power supplies and communications equipment, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with broad experience including software and basic appreciation of electronics design, to join a talented multi-disciplinary team of engineers.
 
Skills and experience required.

• 2 years + experience of Embedded Software / Firmware - C coding for microcontollers
• Experience with Matlab or similar modelling packages
• Ability to write structured code and documentation
• Batchelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related subject. 

Desirable but not essential:

• Experience with signal processing (DSP) theory and algorithms e.g. within transmission / satellite communications applications.
• VHDL / FPGA experience

This role offers the opportunity to gain broad experience developing a bespoke product range including communications modules, motor controllers, sensors and power supplies for a much-admired international organisation.
