Langham Recruitment are representing a great opportunity for a Software Developer to join a well-known FTSE 100 company.
The role will involve determining requirements, designing, building, and maintaining web and mobile applications in order to deliver industry leading business applications.
This is a hybrid role, requiring onsite visits twice a month in the Manchester area.
Role/Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development of web and mobile applications
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Produce user stories
- Work to Agile methodologies
- Contribute to using tools and business processes that ensure useability, reliability, adoption and future proofing
- Maintain technical documentation
Skills/Experience:
- HTML / CSS
- TypeScript (preferably with Angular)
- Relational databases (eg SQL)
- Jakarta EE / Java / Spring / Spring Boot
- Experience building mobile and web applications
Desirable:
- Flutter with Dart
- OCI containers
- WSL
- General Enterprise Linux
- Wildfly Server
- Kubernetes
