Our client is currently looking for a talented contractor to join their team and help take their technology infrastructure to the next level. As they prepare for exponential growth, they want to shift to a more cloud-focused environment and collaborate with sister and partner organizations.

You'll get to assess their current environment, prioritize services for migration to SaaS, create a transition roadmap, and maximize their existing investment in on-premises infrastructure.


Your responsibilities:

• Drive the implementation of Azure Cloud Infrastructure best practices by leading technical architecture and designs, ensuring security and performance balance.
• Create and implement Azure Cloud Infrastructure platform configuration including authentication, partner integration/federation, security and compliance frameworks, policies control, alerting, and automation.
• Produce clear and comprehensive technical and solution documentation, including process and operational documentation.
• Identify suitable workloads for migration to the cloud with a SaaS-first approach.
• Build a long-term strategic roadmap for the service in collaboration with product owners, service leads, and programme owners.
• Diagnose, resolve, and mitigate problems and incidents affecting Azure Cloud Infrastructure and in-scope services.
• Recommend enhancements and resolve bottlenecks between Azure Cloud and in-scope services.
• Maintain and document designs and progress throughout the project and communicate regularly with the project and infrastructure team.
• Design, implement, test, document, and maintain a holistic and sustainable monitoring solution for Azure Cloud Infrastructure service.
• Design, implement, test, document, and maintain a sustainable backup solution for everything deployed as part of the project.
• Automate, test, and maintain Azure Cloud Infrastructure configuration.
