BI Analyst

BI Analyst Contract | £300 per day | Outside IR35 | 12 Month Contract | Fully Remote (UK Based)
 
We are seeking a skilled BI Analyst Contractor to support our reporting and analytics initiatives. The primary focus will be on migrating existing reports from SQL Server to Databricks, maintaining and updating semantic models, and developing new business-critical reports. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Power BI skills to make a significant impact.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 

• Migrate and recreate ~15 reports from SQL Server to Databricks.
• Update and use existing semantic models.
• Develop new reports based on business requirements, including requirements gathering.
• Document processes and perform thorough testing.
• Support reporting for Preventable Losses Programme (Group Procurement) and Legal Reporting (Group Legal).

 
Required Skills:
 

• Power BI & DAX – strong expertise is essential.
• SQL – solid querying and data manipulation skills.
• Version Control – experience with Git or similar VCS.
• Databricks & Python (including Spark Declarative Pipelines) – nice to have, but not mandatory.

 
Rate:
 

• £300 per day outside IR35
• 12 month contract
• Fully remote
