C# Developer | Up to £60k DOE | Westbury/Hybrid | Engineering

Our client develops specialized tools and technologies for various energy sectors. They focus on innovative sensor systems, high-powered devices, and solutions for challenging environments.

They are looking for an experienced C# developer to join their small, dynamic team and grow with them as they expand their global client base.

Role/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing PC-based software that acquires data from the telemetry system.
• Development of user interfaces to visualise data and control the tools.
• SDLC, from requirements discussion with stakeholders through system testing and deployment.
• Creating desktop applications with WPF and WinForms.
• Utilising Entity Framework and SQL
• Combining software elements to create a software system that is completely operational.
• Creating plans for software verification and processes for quality control.
• Implementing programmes and assessing user input.

Experience/Skills:

• 5 or more years of C# coding experience, ideally gained in an engineering setting.
• A computer science bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
• WPF and WinForms
• SQL and Entity framework.
• Knowledge of common software engineering ideas, including multithreading, object orientation, SOLID principles, and programme design techniques.
• The capacity to write testable, well-designed, and logical code.
• Experience recording needs and specifications, as well as assessing the viability of operations.
• Knowledge debugging, troubleshooting, and updating current systems.

Package:

• Salary between £50k - £60k depending on experience.
