C++ Software Engineer (TCP/IP )| Hybrid (Hebden Bridge)
An industry-leading engineering and award-winning audio/broadcast business is looking to grow its embedded software development team by bringing in a skilled and enthusiastic C++ Engineer, with a strong knowledge of TCP/IP and networking.
Producing innovative low-volume electronic products, partnered with the likes of Sony, Dolby, and Siemens, and used by some of the biggest names across the entertainment, media and broadcasting industries (such as Glastonbury), You’ll have a great opportunity to join a fast-growing company, help develop software for professional products and big-name clients, and be a part of the full development lifecycle.
Role:
Your role will involve developing and delivering software for professional audio products, focusing on programming, embedded development, and device networking.
You'll work within a cross-functional team and contribute to every stage of the software lifecycle, from initial specification and design to ongoing maintenance.

Role:

You will need:
- At least 3 years of commercial experience using C++ (other C languages not considered)
- Great understanding of TCP/IP networking (if it’s with control systems, even better!)
- Knowledge of software development for embedded platforms
- An understanding of VoIP, AoIP, IP addressing and protocols would be advantageous but not essential
