Graduate Engineer

Graduate Engineering opportunity – Automotive / Motorsport  - South Coast / Hybrid | £30,000 - £35,000

We are working with a cutting-edge Visual Technology and Engineering company looking for a Graduate Engineer to join their growing team.  This would suit a graduate who has a strong grasp of physical and mathematical engineering, working with structured datasets to produce engineering grade data models and visuals for use in the automotive sector.
You will be working with complex data sets, 3D modelling tools, and industry-leading technologies to support innovative projects across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as part of the content team to process high-precision digital data sets.
• Receive, analyse, and validate source data from various industry sources.
• Manage, create, and update structured dataset libraries and archives.
• Follow structured processes using in-house tools, Rhino, and 3DS Max to generate ground surface meshes from LiDAR data.
• Assist in creating data packages, including imagery, visual assets, and digital models.
• Document project work and contribute to continuous process improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers, artists, and technical teams to ensure high-quality outputs.

Required Skills & Experience
Essential:

• Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Aerospace, Automotive, or a related discipline.
• Great digital modelling or data mapping skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and across business functions.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Rhino, 3DS Max, or other CAD software.
• Exposure to LiDAR data processing or 3D modelling tools.
