An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Analog & Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to join an advanced semiconductor organisation. This role offers the chance to work on the complete design lifecycle of cutting-edge integrated circuits, from concept and architecture definition through to development.
Working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, you will contribute to the specification, design, verification, integration, and characterisation of high-performance analog and mixed-signal blocks implemented in advanced CMOS technologies.

Working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, you will contribute to the specification, design, verification, integration, and characterisation of high-performance analog and mixed-signal blocks implemented in advanced CMOS technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and verify analog and mixed-signal IP blocks from system-level architecture and schematic design through to layout in advanced CMOS process nodes.
- Define specifications and architectures for key mixed-signal components, including ADCs, DACs, PLLs, data interfaces, and optoelectronic-related circuitry.
- Provide technical guidance on layout implementation, establishing layout best practices, reviewing physical designs, and ensuring performance requirements are achieved.
- Support validation and characterisation activities, working closely with test engineers to define test methodologies, analyse laboratory results, and correlate measurements with simulation data.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop models and integrate complete analog and mixed-signal systems within complex SoC environments.
Desirable Experience & Skills
- Strong experience designing analog and mixed-signal circuits in CMOS.
- Experience with nodes at 65nm, 28nm, or below.
- Hands-on expertise with industry-standard EDA tools such as Cadence and/or Synopsys.
- full-custom analog layout and the ability to review and mentor layout designs.
- Experience integrating analog subsystems into complex mixed-signal and digital environments.
