Java Developer

Java Developer | Remote | £50,000 + 12% bonus + £5,000 Car / Car allowance
 
My client is looking for a Software Developer to join their growing Digital team. As part of an ongoing digital transformation, the company is investing in modern platforms and solutions to improve internal processes and enhance the customer experience.
 
Skills/Experience:
Required:

• Experience Java Programmer (minimum 18 months experience)
• Experience with frontend technologies (ideally HTML5/CSS3, TypeScript/JavaScript)
• SQL and relational database understanding
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end web and/or mobile applications

Desirable (but not essential):

• Angular
• Jakarta EE / Java Platform, Enterprise Edition / Java EE
• Linux server experience
• Kubernetes
• Flutter w/ Dart for mobile apps iOS, Android

This is an exciting opportunity to work on business-critical applications that support both field and office teams, as well as end customers. You'll be responsible for the full lifecycle of web and mobile development from requirements gathering through to design, development, and deployment and will work collaboratively with other Developers, Project Owners, UX Designers, QA engineers and end users.

Role/Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain responsive, secure web and mobile applications
• Translate business needs into functional software solutions
• Contribute to sprint planning and agile delivery workflows
• Maintain high standards of documentation and code quality

Package:

• Basic Salary: £50,000
• 12% Bonus
• £5,000 car allowance or company car (if you have a driver’s licence)
