Junior Data Engineer | Up to £35,000 | Marketing | Norwich/Hybrid
 
Our client, a world reaching marketing agency, is looking for a skilled Junior Data Engineer to join their team based out of their Norwich office. You will report to the Insights and Analytics Manager, who will also mentor you. The position will give opportunities for advancement as well as involvement in various and difficult projects across their worldwide agency network.

The Role:
 

• Keeping cloud data warehouses orderly, accessible, and secure.
• Be needed to demonstrate your GCP Data Engineering knowledge when working with clients and translating their requirements into technical data solutions.
• Ensure successful client reporting by suggesting and monitoring relevant campaign metrics and KPIs, as well as participating in the practical maintenance of the agency's in-house reporting platform.
• To give professional insight into website and channel usage data, generally through a thorough grasp of GA4 and BigQuery, as well as the ability to generate relevant report summaries.
• Where appropriate, combine client data with campaign data, collaborating with clients to develop a data integration plan based on their tech stack and security needs.
• Plan and carry out internal research and development initiatives to measure and evaluate various search marketing tactics.

 
Candidate Requirements:
 

• 1-2 years of experience working as a Data Engineer (ideally from an agency/marketing background).
• Experience constructing data solutions utilising JavaScript, HTML, Python, or PHP & API programming.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Practical experience with cloud applications (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Proven experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and so on).
• Excellent communication skills whilst being able to work in a team or alone.
