A growing photonics technology company is looking for a Process / NPI Engineer to help take next-generation Silicon Photonics products from development into high-volume manufacturing.
This is a hands-on role focused on building and optimising scalable assembly and packaging processes.
You'll be working across:

A growing photonics technology company is looking for a Process / NPI Engineer to help take next-generation Silicon Photonics products from development into high-volume manufacturing.
This is a hands-on role focused on building and optimising scalable assembly and packaging processes.
You'll be working across:
- Precision die bonding, wire bonding & optical alignment
- Silicon Photonics assembly & packaging
- SPC, DOE, Cp/Cpk & yield improvement
- NPI, process qualification & HVM ramp
- DFM, tooling & manufacturing equipment
- Technical transfer to contract manufacturing partners
- Root cause analysis, PFMEAs & process control
- 5+ years in Process Engineering / NPI / Manufacturing Engineering
- Semiconductor, electronics, photonics or advanced packaging background
- Hands-on experience with die bonding, wire bonding, optical alignment & wafer-level processing
- Proven Silicon Photonics assembly experience
- Strong SPC / DOE knowledge
- Experience taking processes from development through HVM is highly desirable
