Production Manager | Great Yarmouth - Hybrid | Circa £55,000 | Oil & Gas | Permanent

Langham Recruitment is currently working with a well-known Hydraulic and Electrical expert in the oil and gas industry. With facilities and clients worldwide, our client is a major player within their industry, specialising in highly technical niche products. Due to consistent growth, they are looking for a Production Manager to join their team.

Primary responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and controlling the manufacturing process to ensure that products are delivered on time and on budget. As a Production Manager, you will also:

• Collaborate with the local leadership team to support the company's financial, operational, and quality assurance metrics.
• Oversee manufacturing and production activities.
• Ensure all related production costs, including labour, materials, production consumables, and capital expenditure, must be planned, controlled, and monitored.
• Coordinate with other stakeholders to improve overall project efficiency; delivery of innovative solutions.
• Ensuring the training and development of apprentices and unskilled labour.
• Make sure the workshop and surrounding areas are kept in excellent condition.

About you:

• Experience of a similar role in an engineering or manufacturing environment. (Ideally within Oil and Gas)
• Workshop or factory management experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary mechanical teams to deliver projects efficiently
• Experience creating and updating Engineering documentation.
• Proficient in the use of windows-based software packages such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, Excel etc.
