Project Engineer | Great Yarmouth | Circa £40,000 | Oil & Gas | Permanent

Langham Recruitment is currently working with a well-known Hydraulic and Electrical expert in the oil and gas industry. With facilities and clients worldwide, our client is a major player within their industry, specialising in highly technical niche products. Due to consistent growth and an increased workload, they are looking for a Project engineer to join their team.

The primary responsibility of the project engineer is to oversee the technical aspects of projects that have been given to them and complete scheduled projects on time, within budget and as per specifications, while ensuring the highest level of safety and dependability of the manufactured equipment. As a Project Engineer, you will also:

• Carry out hydraulic and pneumatic system design and engineering.
• Full financial management of projects, including expenditure, profit etc.
• Ensure that progress is kept up to date and produce monthly project progress reports.
• Complete technical evaluations of assigned projects and report these to stakeholders.
• Ensuring that the procurement of components, materials, and services adheres to the project's technical and quality specifications.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineer who is seeking a new challenge within a dynamic organisation, or even a Design Engineer who is highly technical and is looking to move towards a more project focussed role, as full PE training can be given!

About you:

• Experience designing from a Mechanical perspective.
• Experience designing an HPU in Oil and Gas industry.
• Hydraulic and Electrical Project Engineering experience within Oil and Gas is advantageous, but training can be provided.
• Experience in engineering specifications
• Professional manner and experienced and comfortable in dealing with Clients.
• Good PC Skills including Microsoft packages.
