RF Microwave Engineer | Stoke | Up to £60,000 DoE
We have partnered with an internationally recognised organisation in radar technology that is expanding its engineering team with the appointment of an RF/Microwave Antenna Engineer.
They’re seeking a RF/Microwave Engineer to contribute to the design, simulation, and development of advanced Aerospace Systems.

We have partnered with an internationally recognised organisation in radar technology that is expanding its engineering team with the appointment of an RF/Microwave Antenna Engineer.
They’re seeking a RF/Microwave Engineer to contribute to the design, simulation, and development of advanced Aerospace Systems.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct RF and microwave modelling and simulation at both system and component levels using industry-standard tools (e.g., CST Microwave Studio, CARPET).
- Support the design and performance analysis of radar systems, antennas, and passive microwave components.
- Occasionally participate in hands-on RF build and testing, including antenna and waveguide component evaluation.
- Assist in preparing technical documentation and proposals for customer tenders.
Experience required:
- A BSc or BEng or Higher degree (MSc or PhD) in a related engineering or physics discipline.
- Recent experience in RF systems performance simulation or RF/microwave component design using CST or similar tools.
- Proficiency in MATLAB and radar system modelling tools such as CARPET 3.
- Understanding of pulse-compressed radar systems, antenna near-field testing, and waveguide or stripline design.
