Software Engineer – Python/JavaScript – Remote - National Security 
 
Are you an experienced Python/Javascript Developer looking to work on exciting, critical geographical national infrastructure projects?
 
We are working with a specialist Geospatial and data science organisation creating IM and IS systems across a wide range of services for different industries. This is a great opportunity for a Software Engineer with Experience using Python and JavaScript who is a British citizen with a valid SC or DV clearance, or one who is willing to obtain one.

This position can be made at either software engineer or senior software engineer level dependent on your experience. 
 
Responsibilities:

• Delivering quality solutions in challenging, secure IT environments while collaborating with clients in the public, private and defence sectors using a full stack including Python/Javascript (React or Angular).
• Interacting with consumers in a confident manner, matching their needs to the needs of the delivered software components or applications.
• Delivering creative ideas, participating in technological initiatives, roadmaps, and reviews, and staying current with new tools and technologies
• Supplying assistance, technical know-how, counsel, and direction
• Developing, mentoring, and coaching our junior personnel

 
Skills:

• Experience with Python
• Experience with Javascript (React or Angular desirable) 
• Experience with HTML / CSS
• Experience with CI/CD processes
• Understanding and knowledge of Linux / WSL
