Role / Responsibilities:
- Own the technical development and management of the platform
- Enhance and manage current tech stack ensuring security and scalability
- Collaborate with the Product Director to align development with product goals
- Troubleshoot issues and implement fixes to improve the user experience
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies to future-proof the platform
- Provide recommendations to improve technology as they grow
- Proficient with Laravel and PHP, ideally with PHP cURl calls and HTML
- Database management
- Experience of Backbone.js for managing SPAs
- Familiarity with AWS - deployment, scaling and management
- Ability to work independently, be proactive, and with a problem-solving mindset
- Desirable: Background or understanding in the EdTech/Education sector
- Salary circa £60k
- 24 days holiday + bank holidays
