Our client, who is based on the outskirts of Norwich, is an established technology company with a global client base. They are recruiting for an System Design Engineer to join their busy systems Team.
You will be pivotal in bringing together sub-systems including computer, vision, audio, and motion. You will also be key to the assembly, commissioning, testing, and servicing of the systems on-site.

Responsibilities:
- Work on state-of-the-art graphical and computer systems for a globally renowned, award-winning business
- Test and approve new hardware and components.
- Build and incorporate state-of-the-art IT hardware, such as PC parts, networking hardware, racks, and cabling.
- Implement and install numerous AML vision systems with cinema-quality projectors and audio systems. Ensure all systems pass quality control before releasing to the customer.
- Run and maintain the on-site equipment.
- This opportunity has the potential to involve travel to customer installations to commission, test, and service the systems in place.
Key requirements:
- Think quickly and critically, driven to find solutions to issues in several engineering fields.
- Knowledge of how to construct PC systems to exact requirements in a methodical, repeatable manner.
- Software and firmware configuration knowledge
- Good attention to detail.
- Communicates clearly and concisely.
- Willingness to make long-distance trips to customer locations if necessary.
- A keen interest in Motorsport is not essential but would be beneficial for this role.
