Role Overview
We are seeking a Vehicle Dynamics Engineer to take ownership of key development activities related to vehicle behaviour and performance optimization. This role involves working with industry-leading tools to analyse, validate, and refine vehicle dynamics, ensuring high levels of accuracy and efficiency in real-world applications. You will collaborate with engineering teams to enhance vehicle handling, stability, and overall driving characteristics.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead vehicle dynamics development and analysis across multiple projects.
• Conduct in-depth performance assessments and data-driven optimizations.
• Validate and refine vehicle models to ensure alignment with real-world performance.
• Perform advanced data analysis, including telemetry processing and comparative studies.
• Develop and implement vehicle dynamics methodologies to support ongoing projects.
• Collaborate with automotive and motorsport teams to refine vehicle behaviour and performance.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
• Strong background in vehicle dynamics, with experience in automotive or motorsport applications.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as MATLAB, McLaren ATLAS, or similar.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant role.
• Expertise in at least one vehicle simulation or dynamics modelling environment (e.g., Adams, AVL VSM, Simpack, CarMaker, CarSim).
• Ability to manage and deliver complex engineering projects.
Desirable:
• Background in high-performance automotive engineering or motorsport.
• Experience working with vehicle dynamics toolchains and development processes.
