Backend and Senior Backend Games Developer- 100% remote- £50- £70k

 
Langham is working with a fantastic, and rapidly scaling games development company, that specializes in Unreal Engine (C++), Unity (C#), and back-end architecture. They work together with their clients and partners to provide gaming expertise and knowledge, to increase their output and chances of market success.

 
With Senior CTOs and directors, from some of the most well know global gaming companies, and a development team that’s second to none, they work collaboratively and as a collective to ensure that companies have everything they need to succeed and that quality is a primary value in development.


Due to continued growth, they are looking to take on additional Back end and Senior Backend Developers to join an exciting & passionate team, that aims to be one of the best games Studios in the world. Working Fully embedded into a customer's in-house team, you’ll work seamlessly to:
 

• Create technical designs and implement the key backend systems used in current and future titles.
• Work on matchmaking, lobbying & server-less orchestration.
• Collaborate with other technical disciplines on multiplayer features, ensuring network considerations have been taken into account.
• Take reliability, extensibility, performance, and cost into account. Profile & optimise code where needed.
• Provide development estimates and reporting to the team.

 
You’ll need:

• 3+ years of backend development experience in the gaming sector
• Strong understanding of coding processes, standards, and methodologies.
• Demonstratable history of using C#,.NET Core & Azure

 

• Desired but not essential:
  Experience with Web Services, Micro Services, RPC’s, & NoSQL Databases

What you’ll get:

• Basic Salary £40,000 to £70,000 DOE
• 100% remote role (You must be UK based)
