Are you a talented Full Stack Developer with a passion for crafting intuitive, user-focused front-end experiences while still being confident working with .NET on the back end? Join an award-winning EdTech SaaS company based in Huddersfield that’s transforming education outcomes across the UK and internationally.
You’ll be joining a highly skilled, agile team building modern, scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, and .NET, with exposure to Azure cloud services. This is a fantastic opportunity for a mid to senior-level engineer who thrives in collaborative environments and has experience delivering across the full SDLC, from requirements gathering through to deployment and maintenance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborating in an agile, Scrum-based team to design and build engaging, responsive front-end features in React/TypeScript
- Contributing to the back-end with web-based .NET development where needed
- Working across the full SDLC – requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing support
- Applying clean coding principles (SOLID, DRY) and contributing to maintainable, scalable architecture
- Refactoring legacy code and ensuring high-quality user experiences through strong testing practices
- Working closely with Product Owners, designers, and engineers to align technical delivery with user needs
Role Requirements
- 4+ years of commercial software development experience (mid/senior level)
- Strong expertise in front-end development – React, TypeScript, Redux
- Experience in web-based .NET development (C#)
- Solid understanding of the full SDLC, including test-driven development and CI/CD practices
- Knowledge of SQL and database-driven applications
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of features from idea to delivery
Salary and Benefits
- £55,000 – £70,000 per annum
