Contract Business Analyst - Infrastructure Focus
£500 to £600 per day Outside IR35
Solihull / Hybrid – 3 days a week onsite
Duration – 6 months

We are looking for a Business Analyst who is experienced with complex, enterprise-level, Infrastructure / Connectivity Projects. Our client, a leading organisation in their sector, is seeking a contractor with infrastructure projects experience to provide Business Analysis on a range of initiatives to refresh and modernize network architecture, including SD-WAN and LAN upgrades.
The successful contract Business Analyst will play a key role in building a future-proof infrastructure that enables secure, reliable, and fast technology adoption for innovative business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with non-technical users to gather and translate requirements
• Translate business needs into user stories and clear technical specifications
• Conduct as-is/to-be analysis using Visio and support change impact assessments
• Coordinate Compliance with IT Governance
• Coordinate and support user acceptance testing
• Evaluate and implement satellite connectivity solutions (e.g., Starlink) to improve site connectivity.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Business Analysis experience within Infrastructure / Network / Connectivity projects
• Understanding of business process reengineering and business modelling concepts
• Requirement gathering from all levels of users, especially non-technical users
• Experience working in large, enterprise environments
• Good technical knowledge of Foundation IT Architecture, IT Infrastructure concepts, Business Applications, Middleware integrations.
• Proficiency in Visio or similar tools 
• Strong stakeholder management 

Desirable: 

• Business Analysis of large-scale infrastructure projects, including SD-WAN and LAN deployments across multiple sites
• Understanding of satellite connectivity technologies and their application in remote environments.
