We’re seeking an experienced PCB Design Engineer to support a focused 6-week package of work. This short-term contract will involve schematic creation, PCB layout, and library part creation across a range of new and existing PCBA designs.

We’re seeking an experienced PCB Design Engineer to support a focused 6-week package of work. This short-term contract will involve schematic creation, PCB layout, and library part creation across a range of new and existing PCBA designs.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Initial schematic and PCB layout for multiple PCBA designs (On-Off Control, User Interface, Interface boards)
- Updating an existing Ethernet Switch PCBA to run at 24VDC
- Investigating and implementing changes due to component obsolescence
Tools & Skills
- Experience with Pulsonix is ideal, but we’re open to more widely used tools like Altium Designer
- Strong skills in schematic capture, PCB layout, and component library management
- Ability to follow existing design standards and collaborate closely with in-house engineers
Important information
- Hybrid: Minimum 3 days/week on-site in Bradford-on-Avon, remainder remote
- Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Budget: c£50 per hour
- Start Date: Mid-August
