Customer Support Engineer | Audio / Broadcast Technology | West Yorkshire | Global Travel Opportunity | Salary up to £30k depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly and effectively to service inquiries and calls from customers.
  • Perform on-site service visits, including upgrades, fault correction, and mixer upgrades.
  • Utilize our factory facilities to diagnose and troubleshoot reported faults.
  • Maintain accurate service tickets, customer service records, and service database records.
  • Collaborate with the Development Team to identify and address software bugs and design issues as needed.
Requirements:
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on providing solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as IP, TCP, UDP, RTP, and RTSP.
  • Proficiency in LAN configuration and experience with Switches/Routers (VLAN, ACL, etc.).
  • Possession of a professional IT networking qualification (CCNA/CCNP or equivalent).
  • Excellent computer literacy and ability to navigate various software tools.
Desirable Skills:
  • Familiarity with audio test equipment and audio measurement.
  • Understanding of broadcast audio systems and interfaces.
  • Knowledge of audio and audio control systems at both system and component levels within broadcast applications.
