Langham Recruitment is currently working with a well-known Mechanical and Electrical Engineering expert in the oil and gas industry. With facilities and clients worldwide, our client is a major player within their industry, specialising in highly technical niche products. Due to consistent growth and an increased workload, they are looking for an Electrical Technician to join their team.
Our client our looking for an Electrical Technician who has a minimum of one year experience working on electrical equipment to join their workshop technician team working on bespoke product specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Electrical installation of equipment and products and testing
- Working from electrical and mechanical specification documents and drawings
- Work according of BS EN 60079-17's requirements for the inspection and upkeep of electrical installations in hazardous environments.
- Installation and testing of plugs / cables etc.
- Field installations and the installation of clean control panel wiring must adhere to current legal requirements and ethical working procedures.
Skills:
- Experience or background in electrical applications or equipment
- CompEx certified.
- Electrical certifications
