Graduate Trainee Recruitment Consultant - Norwich City Centre / Hybrid. Langham Recruitment is a respected IT / Technology Recruiter. We have an opportunity for a Graduate Trainee Recruitment Consultants / Researcher to join us in our Norwich office recruiting candidates for vacancies across the UK in a a range of technology roles including Software Development, Electronics/Engineering, Immersive Technology, User Experience, Digital Commerce, Cloud, Information Security and AI.
You’ll receive excellent training from an experienced team, learning to source talent and promote our services to an exciting client base.

Role of a Graduate Recruitment Consultant:

• Finding candidates for vacancies by advertising the jobs, searching company / CV databases, and using LinkedIn Recruiter (full training provided)
• Briefing candidates about client companies and vacancies by telephone / video call
• Matching client’s and candidate’s requirements
• Preparing and submitting CVs to client company’s vacancies.
• Preparing candidates for interview and managing the recruitment process.
• Be the port of call for clients and candidates throughout the interview process.
• Developing a database of specialist candidates.
• Promoting our services by compiling and sending LinkedIn and email campaigns to hiring managers at target copmpanies
• You will receive ongoing training and development supported by structured personal development and appraisals enabling you to fulfill your career potential within a respected and innovative business.
• Opportunities exist to progress quickly into Senior Recruitment Consultant, Business Development Executive or Management positions.

Person specification: 

• You will be hard-working, articulate and ambitious graduate seeking to embark on a career in business.
• You do not need to bring any specialist knowledge of the IT or Recruitment industry. However, having a curious nature along and a thirst to learn will serve you well.
• You will be motivated, self-managing and “goal-driven” and be prepared to work hard to provide an excellent service to your clients, achieve targets and earn your bonuses.
• You’ll be able to quickly learn to use a variety of platforms and tools to search for and engage with potential candidates e.g. CV Databases and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• You will have good written communication and, after training, will quickly become confident in writing compelling and effective recruitment adverts and social media posts.
• Sales or Customer Service experience is desirable, but not essential. However, you will be able to demonstrate a track record of achievement (be it in your working life, academically, sporting, extra-curricular, hobbies / interests etc…)

Graduate Recruitment Consultant package:

• Starting salary of £20,500 to £24,000 depending on experience, rising quickly with subsequent promotions.
• Excellent commission scheme providing “on target earnings” s of £40,000 in year one. Once established in year two £60,000+ is realistic.
• Terrific working environment in Fuel Studios in Norwich City Centre – showers, secure cycle sheds, kitchens, break out area with Play Station, Table Tennis etc…
• Hybrid working - After your induction period you will have the option for 3 days a week home working as only Tuesdays and Thursday are mandatory in office. That said, you are welcome to be in the office 5 days a week if you'd prefer. You’ll be providing with a laptop so it’s up to you.
