IT Business Relationship Manager (Business Partner)
£35,000 - £45,000 p/a
 
Our client is recruiting for an IT Business Relationship Manager (Technology Business Partner), focused on creating positive relationships and communication between IT and the wider business. This is a Hybrid role with the potential to work from several offices based across the North-West.   
 
Serving as a main point of contact for staff, stakeholders, and IT, they are seeking a motivated, experienced professional to work as a trusted advisor, sponsor and advocate for all day-to-day IT requirements and concerns falling outside of business-as-usual processes.
 
The company sits inside the legal sector, any previous experience in this area would be advantageous.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a liaison between business and IT to assist in coordinating services with organisational requirements, ensuring the highest levels of satisfaction and engagement.
  • Consult with the business to assess initiatives and recommendations for priority projects.
  • To collaborate with the company to help create an all-encompassing approach to IT service management. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline application/service utilisation and overall user experience.
  • Conduct frequent regional office and site visits to get a greater understanding of the challenges faced across the business.
  • Monitor the progress of projects to make sure that team members are completing their work effectively and upholding business standards.
  • Draft fresh guidelines and procedures for the project management office.
 
Skills and Experience:
  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills, able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Understand business requirements with the ability to identify how these can be translated into effective service deliverables.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Rigorous attention to detail.
  • Experience working in an IT relationship management role.
  • Experience of working in the legal sector.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
