A well-established, globally connected technology company is expanding its North American innovation team and is seeking a hands-on Laboratory Technician to support advanced research and product development initiatives.

This role sits at the intersection of precision engineering, experimental science, and emerging technologies. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary R&D group, contributing to the development, testing, and refinement of next-generation systems used in highly specialized applications.


What you’ll be doing

• Supporting a variety of lab-based R&D activities tied to new product development
• Performing precision alignment and setup of sensitive experimental systems
• Conducting data acquisition during testing and measurement campaigns
• Analysing results and compiling clear, structured technical reports
• Collaborating with engineers and scientists across mechanical, electronic, and software domains

What we’re looking for

• Practical experience working with precision components or optical systems
• Familiarity with PCB design tools (e.g. Altium or similar)
• Exposure to machine vision or imaging systems
• Experience using CAD tools such as SolidWorks
• A methodical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
