Lead Software Engineer | Space Sector | RTOS | Florida | $140,000 DoE
We are working with an innovative and growing organization in the space sector, which is at the forefront of leading the development of industry-changing, advanced space systems.
With exciting expansion plans, they are seeking to grow their software engineering capabilities with the appointment of a Lead Software Engineer (RTOS, C++, Python) with 8+ years of experience working on real-time operating systems (RTOS) and developing software solutions using C++ or Python.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership on the development of real-time operating systems.
- Lead the development of new software solutions for next-generation space systems.
- Work alongside various engineering teams for the testing and integration of solutions into wider applications.
- Provide support on existing software systems, adding innovative features.
- Create technical documentation for software solutions
Skills and Experience:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience within the Aerospace, Space, Defense sector using C++ and/or Python or similar.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Experience with embedded software systems.
