We are seeking a Lead Unity Developer with a passion for immersive technology to join an award-winning XR immersive studio in London.
You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals from various backgrounds such as film, television, games, and performance, to create exceptional virtual reality, augmented reality, and immersive content experiences.

As a highly skilled Lead Developer with Unity expertise, you will lead the Code department and deliver outstanding technology and entertainment products for the business. 

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the software engineering expertise within the company, fostering growth through recruitment, headcount management, career development, and training.
• Building a high-performance Code department by creating an environment and processes for success.
• Collaborating with senior leadership and internal teams to ensure the delivery of the product roadmap and meet commercial targets.
• Working closely with other internal teams to achieve the company's strategic objectives.

Requirements:

• Proven track record of leading software teams to deliver commercial results.
• Strong Unity/C# experience, with additional skills in Unreal/C++ being a plus.
• Experience within Gaming, VR/AR or media sector would be an advantage
• Bonus points for experience in the XR, VR/AR space
• Ability to work cross-functionally with product, commercial, R&D, and creative teams.
