They are seeking multiple vacancies for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work in their dynamic R&D team.
Design Engineer Responsibilities:
- Develop CAD design concepts using 2D drawings, 3D models and prototypes.
- Produce engineering drawings, specifications, BOM structures, part lists and costings.
- Ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures, conduct necessary verification and documentation.
- Collaborate within the core Engineering team and liaise with the shop floor, commercial and manufacturing departments.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in an automotive or motorsport environment
- Proficient with 3CAD, preferably NX & TeamCenter PLM – design experience tailored to rotating and reciprocating components
- Knowledge of manufacturing methodologies, specifically within machining and casting
- Experience in a multi-disciplinary environment working across multiple projects
- Can read and interpret 2D manufacturing and assembly designs
Nice to have:
- BEng or BSc, ideally in an engineering or aeronautical discipline
- Automotive quality experience e.g., DFMEA and PPAP
- Demonstration of DFM
