You’ll be a key player in verifying system-level functionality, corner case robustness, and module-level performance using state-of-the-art equipment and methodologies. This is your opportunity to ensure reliability at the forefront of photonic innovation.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute detailed test plans for photonic modules and subcomponents.
- Conduct edge-case analysis to evaluate system reliability under extreme conditions.
- Debug photonic systems using optical spectrum analyzers, high-speed oscilloscopes, and power meters.
- Analyze performance data using Python, MATLAB, or similar tools to extract insights and drive design improvements.
- Collaborate with optical, systems, and firmware engineers to refine validation processes.
What You Bring
- M.S. with 5+ years or Ph.D. with 2+ years in Optical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Deep knowledge of photonic devices—lasers, SOAs, filters, splitters, and photodetectors.
- Expertise in optical test and measurement, and experience with data visualization and test automation.
- Strong analytical and communication skills; experience with statistical analysis and reliability testing is a plus.
