The role:
The Project Engineer is in charge of managing and executing projects related to Aftermarket Services such as Services and Repairs, Component Sales, and Capital Spares.
Responsibilities:
- Design and engineering of hydraulic / pneumatic systems in accordance with project specifications and statutory requirements
- Assist in Small Project / Repair activities to achieve agreed project milestones by liaising with all departments, the client, inspectors and sub-contractors
- Develop project plans and schedules
- Provide technical support and advice to customers
- Manage budgets and resources
- Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Maintain accurate records of project activities
Essential:
- Significant experience in a Services / Projects / Engineering environment
- Knowledge of hydraulic or pneumatic schematic systems
- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships and effective communication channels in a high-pressure, time-sensitive workplace.
- Proficient in Windows based software.
Nice to have:
- Engineering qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Experience and understanding of the oil and gas industry.
- Project management.
- Experience in a sales-related environment
- Annual salary of £35k - £52k DOE
