Project Support Coordinator
PLC | Birmingham – Hybrid Working | £275-£325 per day | Outside IR35 | 4-month contract
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Support Coordinator to support our clients Business Systems team across multiple concurrent initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, proven experience managing or supporting multiple projects, and solid knowledge of JIRA (or similar tools)
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team, where your coordination skills will directly contribute to the success of strategic business systems initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update project plans, milestones and task lists in JIRA and other relevant tools.
  • Support resource planning discussions to ensure capacity is aligned to project needs.
  • Prepare and maintain regular progress reports, dashboards and summaries for internal stakeholders.
  • Support the definition and tracking of deliverables, ensuring ownership and accountability are clear.
  • Support project leads in managing workloads and priorities across the Business Systems team.
  • Coordinate internal projects and ensure alignment with wider business goals.
  • Act as a central point of coordination between the Business Systems team and external project leads.
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in project support, PMO, or project coordination roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of JIRA (or equivalent project tracking software)
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management skills.
  • Experience managing or supporting multiple concurrent projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly, Excel.
Desirable Experience:
  • Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Experience within IT, Business Systems or Digital Transformation environments.
