Langham Recruitment is currently working with a well-known Mechanical and Electrical Engineering expert in the oil and gas industry. With facilities and clients worldwide, our client is a major player within their industry, specialising in highly technical niche products. Due to consistent growth and an increased workload, they are looking for a Project Coordinator to join their team.
The primary responsibilities of the Project Coordinator are to monitor project progress, communicate updates to stakeholders, and ensure accurate schedules and software systems for all ongoing projects. As a Project Coordinator, you will also:
- Be responsible for creating an appropriate work breakdown structure for all projects.
- Assist the Head of Projects and Project Engineers in general tasks.
- Work closely with the Project Engineering team and other teams such as Procurement and Production to ensure Project and Production Schedules are accurate.
- Monitor project progress against the plan, making suggestions on how to expedite and improve the timeline.
About you:
- Experienced in a Project based role within Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage your own workload.
- Professional manner and experienced and comfortable in dealing with Clients.
- Good PC Skills including Microsoft Projects.
