Langham Recruitment is currently working with a multinational engineering services firm that works with clients in the aerospace, automotive, marine, renewable energy, energy infrastructure, and military sectors. Our client is expanding quickly, with engineers and site locations in Europe, India, and South America. Due to this growth and an increased workload, they are looking for a Senior Design engineer to join their team.
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer you will use programmes such as CATIA 3Dx and Solidworks and will be expected to deliver conceptual designs and finished products. There will be opportunities to directly interact with customers while working independently or as part of a project team. This position may involve working within our client's environment or embedded within a customer project team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Design Engineer seeking to advance their career into a more senior position, or for a current senior seeking a new challenge with a dynamic organisation!

About you:
- Experience in a design role within an appropriate engineering field
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes for both metallic and plastic components.
- Experience with CATIA 3Dx with configuration control.
- Knowledge of aircraft and or automotive structures.
- Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
- Understanding of design principles within aerospace/automotive,
