Software Developer

Software Developer | Birmingham - 2x a month onsite | Car + Bonus
 
My client is looking for a Software Developer to join their growing Digital team. As part of an ongoing digital transformation, the company is investing in modern platforms and solutions to improve internal processes and enhance the customer experience.
 
This is an exciting opportunity to work on business-critical applications that support both field and office teams, as well as end customers. You'll be responsible for the full lifecycle of web and mobile development from requirements gathering through to design, development, and deployment.
 
Role/Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain responsive, secure web and mobile applications
• Translate business needs into functional software solutions
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including UX, QA, stakeholders and third-party vendors
• Contribute to sprint planning and agile delivery workflows
• Maintain high standards of documentation and code quality

 
Skills/Experience:

• Proficiency in Java / Java EE
• Experience with frontend technologies (ideally HTML/CSS, TypeScript/JavaScript)
• SQL and relational database management
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end web and/or mobile applications
• Desirable: Linux server experience, Kubernetes knowledge, Flutter w/ Dart
