About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Analog Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer to support the development of Read Out Integrated Circuits (ROIC) for high-performance infrared sensors. In this role, you will lead innovation in mixed-signal IC design, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the success of mission-critical projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of digital and analog mixed-signal IC design engineers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to meet technical objectives and drive innovation.
- Conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with performance requirements.
- Improve design efficiency through IP reuse and advanced design methodologies.
- Manage workload and resources for current and future design projects.
- Interface with ROIC foundry personnel to optimize fabrication processes.
Experience & Skills Required
- MSEE or PhD with 10+ years of experience in digital/analog mixed-signal IR ROIC design.
- Strong background in CMOS semiconductor IC design, including full-custom analog IC layout.
- Expertise in deep sub-micron layout design, including parasitic RC delay, signal integrity, and transistor matching.
- Hands-on experience with Cadence Virtuoso tools, Layout L/XL, and physical verification tools (Assura, Calibre).
- Successful tape outs of high-precision mixed-signal IC blocks (PLLs, serializers, DACs, precision regulators, ADCs).
- ROIC and pixel design experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment independently and collaboratively.
