Senior Product Manager

Senior Product Manager | EdTech SaaS | Huddersfield / Hybrid – 1 day per week onsite | Up to £65,000

An award-winning SaaS business based in Huddersfield is looking for an experienced Product Manager to join their team. Through innovative data and insight products, they help organisations make informed decisions that positively impact schools, educators and learners across the UK.

In this role, you will own areas of the product roadmap, work closely with customers and stakeholders, and drive product decisions that balance customer value, commercial opportunity and strategic objectives.

This role would suit a Product Manager who enjoys solving complex business problems and is excited by the opportunity to shape products that make a positive impact in the education sector. 

Role Responsibilities:

• Own and develop areas of the product roadmap aligned to customer needs and business objectives

• Evaluate and prioritise product initiatives based on customer value, commercial impact and strategic benefit

• Build business cases and support investment decisions for new products and enhancements

• Work closely with schools, colleges and other stakeholders to understand challenges, opportunities and requirements

• Build a strong understanding of the platform's data, reporting and analytics capabilities

• Review how data is captured, interpreted and presented to schools, improving its usability and value

• Challenge and refine requirements to ensure investment is focused on delivering measurable value

• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure solutions are clearly understood and successfully delivered

• Use customer insight, product performance and operational data to inform product decisions

• Define, track and report on product success measures and outcomes

• Lead discussions around priorities, roadmap direction and product strategy

• Communicate product decisions and strategic direction across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Product Manager within a SaaS, technology or data-led business

• Experience within EdTech, reporting platforms, business intelligence, analytics or data-led software products would be beneficial

• Experience owning and managing product roadmaps

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to balance customer needs, commercial objectives and technical considerations

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills

• Experience gathering, challenging and refining business requirements

• Ability to work effectively across product, engineering, commercial and leadership teams
