Join one of the best UK gaming studios as a Senior Sysadmin (Linux) with a security focus. As part of our client's team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and stability of their live Linux estate. Utilise your expertise in vulnerability scanning, patch management, configuration management, and auditing to implement robust security measures aligned with industry best practices. Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to knowledge sharing sessions to enhance the client's security infrastructure.
 
Responsibilities:

• Implement firmware/patching of Linux and hardware based on vulnerability scanning outputs for the client.
• Apply CIS level 1 adjustments to the Linux estate using configuration management and auditing software for the client.
• Implement live kernel patching for Ubuntu LTS across development and live environments for the client.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and maintain security lifecycles for the client.
• Document all designs, work performed, and present updates in knowledge sharing sessions.

Experience:

• Strong background in Linux system administration with a focus on security.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and patch management processes.
• Proficiency in configuration management software.
• Experience with auditing software and CIS benchmarks.
• Knowledge of live kernel patching for Ubuntu LTS.
• Excellent collaboration and organisational skills.
