Responsibilities:
- Implement firmware/patching of Linux and hardware based on vulnerability scanning outputs for the client.
- Apply CIS level 1 adjustments to the Linux estate using configuration management and auditing software for the client.
- Implement live kernel patching for Ubuntu LTS across development and live environments for the client.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and maintain security lifecycles for the client.
- Document all designs, work performed, and present updates in knowledge sharing sessions.
Experience:
- Strong background in Linux system administration with a focus on security.
- Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and patch management processes.
- Proficiency in configuration management software.
- Experience with auditing software and CIS benchmarks.
- Knowledge of live kernel patching for Ubuntu LTS.
- Excellent collaboration and organisational skills.
