In order to build a highly talented, player-focused development team, our client is looking for a Game Animator to join their project team as they grow. This Game Animator will bring their knowledge in the newest technologies, concentrated around Unreal Engine 5.

Key Duties Include:
 

• Use motion capture data or hand key animation to give figures and creatures life.
• Provide animation materials that adhere to standards for both style and quality.
• Employ flexible processes and delivery methods to make sure animations are produced and distributed as soon as possible.
• Strive to level up, expand your skill set, and improve your talents.
• Make sure animations are incorporated in the game engine as effectively as possible by working closely with the team.
• Collaborate with technical animators to fix issues and enhance current processes and tools.

 
Essential Requirements:
 

• A minimum of one title that has already shipped.
• Have a passion for video game animation.
• A player- or product-centred approach to animation.
• Good knowledge of the concepts and principles of animation.
• Excellent technical knowledge of current and upcoming animation trends.
• Ability to communicate ideas and provide feedback to other team members.
• Excellent detail-oriented eye for identifying problems and opportunities.

 
Desirable Requirements:
 

• Working knowledge of motion capture.
• Working knowledge of Unreal 5
